1000 Miglia

1000 Miglia 15th – 18th May 2019

You need to have the drive to realise it

Since Porsche Centrum Gelderland opened its doors to Porsche enthusiasts in March 2006, the company has grown into one of the largest Porsche dealers in the world. With a combined experience of more than 50 years in the automotive industry, the founders, Mark Wegh and Daniel van der Ley, set out to build their own Car leasing company in 2010. In November 2015, Mark Wegh once again reached a new milestone by opening the world’s very first stand-alone Porsche Classic Center.

1000 Miglia 1927 - 1957

The endurance race was held for the first time in 1927 and after 30 years abolished due to the large number of accidents during the trip. Since 1982 the Mille Miglia is restored into a regularity race, exclusively for cars which have driven the old Mille Miglia in the period 1927 – 1957. Nowadays the street race is in fact a mobile car museum. All the famous brands are involved and there are also many well known participants from the sport and showbiz. 460 cars may take part in the rally and there are thousands of entries from around the world each year.

1000 Miglia 2019 Customer Tour

Just like last year Porsche Centrum Gelderland had the honor to once again compete within the 1000 Miglia. 2018 was the first year in which Way2Drive was an official sponsor. For the second time, Porsche Centrum Gelderland organised a customer trip alongside the official route of the 1000 Miglia. The customers had a chance to cheer on the participating teams.
